Hand Forged from 1095 hi-carbon steel, these blades are quenched and tempered to have a very hard edge for maximum edge retention. These are our go-to butcher knives for at-home game processing. There is nothing more frustrating than trying to process a whole deer, elk, or wild hog with a knife that constantly needs sharpening. This knife solves that problem and is money well spent on a knife that will truly last a lifetime. There are 2 versions of this knife, the swirl finished blade, and a hand hammered version with a little more of the hand-forged character still present. Each knife comes with a protective blade cover. Just remember these are High-Carbon steel. That is what makes these incredibly efficient butcher knives, but they will rust if neglected so always wash your blade, and oil after use.
