The DeerNeer Knife scales are perfect scale options for metal knife builders. While all our NeerDeer handles can be used in conjunction with metal blades, these scales are special-made for our metal knife-smith friends. They are a little over 4-1/2″ long, about 1-1/4″ wide, and roughly 5/16″ thick on the ends with a nice swell to approximately 7/16″ in the center for a nice rounded handle shape
NeerDeer handles are easy to cut or machine. You can use natural or artificial glues with them. NeerDeer handles are nice, strong handles within reason but are not chop, baton, or drop approved.
