These knife sheaths are simple yet convenient and effective. They are made from the same soft Bison hide suede that our quivers are made from. We have 2 options, the fold-over side seam, or the 2 piece double stitch. The Bison Skinner knives fit either sheath, while the knives on deer antler handles typically best fit the fold-over side seem sheath.
It is best to order a sheath and a knife at the same time as the knife will be guaranteed to be a good fit to the sheath. Sheaths ordered separately cannot be guaranteed to fit perfectly as all knives vary slightly, however if you wish to order a sheath for an existing knife, please email a picture of your knife with a ruler next to it both width-ways and long-ways so we can get the sheath measurements as close as possible. After ordering, email your pictures and order number to firstname.lastname@example.org
Not designed for metal knives as the stitchings are not steel-knife proof! These are for stone knives only.
These sheaths come in a lighter or darker leather color choice (colors do vary a bit), and also come with a piece of hand twisted cordage suitable to use as a necklace or you can tie a knot in it, cut it to length and use it to tie the sheath on to your quiver, pack, or belt.
We no longer make these with belt loops as a belt worn stone knife is easily forgotten about and folks can jump up into their truck, sit on the knife and snap the blade. Stone knives are best worn either as a necklace or tied to your arrow quiver.
