Back by Popular demand, the Antler indirect percussion stick is an excellent tool to have in your primitive knapping kit. The antler bit is made from dense axis antler and is tightly fit and glued into the oak shaft. It is then wrapped with genuine sinew, which shrinks and tightly binds the tip for excellent performance and longevity. There is, however, a caveat. We will no longer be replacing these tools due to overuse or breakage. We have a video at the bottom of this page that will walk you through how to use this tool to its full potential, but not beat it so hard that it breaks. We highly recommend watching the short video so you can get the most benefit and longevity from these great tools!
