Description
Similar to our normal HuntPrimitive painted hunting shirts, however, these shirts are altered to be in alignment with our Hunting For The Kingdom movement. On the back is printed with our “Hunting for the Kingdom” logo, and the front has also experienced some changes. The bison on the upper right chest has been swapped for a sunrise, and the traditional spiral has been replaced with the Ram, which pays homage to the Ram of Abraham & Isaac, signifying that God always provides for his people. It is also a play on our Lost Sheep Hunters concept. These painted hunting shirts are a great way to honor your faith while enjoying your hunts in God’s creation.
These Short sleeve shirts are 100% cotton, Gildan Soft Style Tee shirts in the Texas Orange color. The Texas orange color is a dark enough shade to keep you hidden from animals, but bright enough to be noticed by the human eye.

A few things you should know before ordering. These are the same style of shirts that Ryan wears in his Hunting Videos. These are considered an artisanal shirt and should be cared for by hand washing and hang drying if you would like the painted color to last. Fading will occur with excessive, hard, washing machine cycles. Each shirt is airbrushed by hand so they take a considerable amount of time to paint which is why these are now only being offered as limited quantities in-stock. We cancelled them for a while when we got so busy and fell behind trying to keep up with all the daily HuntPrimitive orders, but since so many people asked if we could bring them back, we did so in this limited-stock quantity. When we are free in our schedule, Ryan will get more painted up, so if you want one and it’s available in-stock, you may want to grab it.Â
What to expect in your shirt? These are primitively themed shirts so you can expect about like you see in the photos. There will likely be some smudges or overspray. I always consider them to look “Perfectly imperfect”. If they look too perfect then they do not look authentic. If you are looking for perfect machine printed shirts, these are not it. We like to embrace their imperfections.
Why does Ryan love these for hunting shirts? Ryan has always believed that modern camo doesn’t quite properly fit with the primitive hunt. Although he prefers a modern comfortable fit of clothing, the colors are themed after a smoked buckskin color, or Osage-wood dyed buckskin. The painting allows for artistic impression as seen in countless primitive arts across the world while also being used in a clever way to break up the outline of a solid colored shirt. Since mammals see variations of black and white, these colors also blend in well to their surroundings when viewed by most mammals. If you follow along with the HuntPrimitive YouTube channel, you’ll have seen dozens of successful up-close hunts in these shirts.
